PHILLIP VYVER (Chairman)

Phil is the current CEO of Netball Northern Zone and the Northern Mystics.  He has worked in the sport and recreation industry for the past 25 plus years, working for several different organisations during that time.  Prior to his current role he was GM of Archery NZ and prior to that GM of Bowls Auckland.  Phil has also been the administrator for the Blue Waters Community Trust, a small gaming trust distributing funds to the NFP sector in Auckland.

GRACIE MACKINLAY

Gracie MacKinlay is a governance professional and community advocate with over 20 years of leadership experience. Originally from China, she has lived and worked internationally before making New Zealand her home.  With degrees in International Business, Accounting, and Applied Computing, Gracie is also a member of the Institute of Directors. As the former CEO of Mighty Ape, she led the company through significant growth and transformation and she is currently serving as a Governor at Radio New Zealand (RNZ).  Passionate about community impact, Gracie is committed to youth development, equity, and serving her local community as a volunteer firefighter.  Gracie brings her disciplined governance and strong financial skills to the Auckland Softball Foundation Charitable Trust board.

MARK CRAIG

Mark Craig brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the community, sport, and corporate sectors, including roles at Auckland Rugby League and Aktive. His background includes senior roles in not-for-profit and commercial environments, with extensive expertise in relationship management, governance support, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.  Mark is deeply committed to community development and is passionate about supporting organisations that create meaningful opportunities for young people, whānau, and local communities.


KIM GORDON

Kim Gordon is the NZ Partner of a specialist IT commercial consulting firm and has over 25 years’ experience in a diverse range of technology-related roles spanning legal, commercial, governance and leadership positions.  Kim has gained board experience across the private and public sectors and on not-for-profit boards.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland.  


VANESSA PARKER

Vanessa is the Managing Director of May Time Marketing Limited.  She has an extensive background in sport, recreation and commercial marketing, including senior roles with Sky City Hamilton, The Blues and Chiefs Super Rugby clubs, and Anytime Fitness NZ.  Vanessa brings strong expertise in strategic planning, marketing, and stakeholder engagement, along with experience in business management and operations.  She is passionate about strengthening communities and wellbeing through sport and supporting organisations to deliver sustainable outcomes.


 DANIEL BALASOGLOU

Dan Balasoglou is Group CFO at Wet & Forget.  Prior to that in NZ he has held roles at Mighty Ape as their CEO/CFO and CFO of Lotto NZ.  Prior to this he spent 13 years in the UK working in leadership positions in the Real Estate services sector, Accenture and GE Oil & Gas.  Dan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and CPA Australia and involved in his local sports rugby and cricket club.
