​​​​​​​PHILLIP VYVER (Chairman)

Phil is the current CEO of Netball Northern Zone and the Northern Mystics.  He has worked in the sport and recreation industry for the past 23 years, working for several different organisations during that time.  Most recently he was GM of Archery NZ and prior to that GM of Auckland Bowls.  Phil has also been the administrator for the Blue Waters Community Trust, a small gaming trust distributing funds to the NFP sector in Auckland.​​​​​​​


ANGELA DIXON

Angela is an experienced senior financial professional, having had over 4 years experience as CFO at both Public Trust and Synlait Milk Ltd (NZX/AX Listed). In her role at Public Trust, Angela was responsible for over $1b client funds under management, and has a strong understanding of financial markets regulation as well as the wider responsibilities when investing clients' funds. Prior to this Angela spend 10 years in the insurance sector in a number of senior finance and operational roles and 6 years in professional services at PWC. She is a Chartered Accountant and was elected onto the Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand representative council for 4 years, representing the members of the profession. Angela is also a current member of NZ institute of Directors.  

KIM GORDON

Kim Gordon is the NZ Partner of a specialist IT commercial consulting firm and has over 25 years’ experience in a diverse range of technology-related roles spanning legal, commercial, governance and leadership positions. Kim has gained board experience across the private and public sectors and on not-for-profit boards. She has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland.  


VANESSA PARKER

Currently based in Hamilton, Vanessa as Head of Marketing for Sky City Hamilton. She has held senior marketing roles at both the Blues and Chiefs Super Rugby clubs and Anytime Fitness NZ.  Vanessa has extensive experience in sport and recreation, business planning, marketing strategy and implementation, and has specialised in membership programmes and event management. She has previously established and managed a small business.


MARK MALONEY

Mark has been Head of Assurance at Auckland Council since 2015. Prior to this he was with Audit New Zealand for 20 years - the last ten years as an Appointed Auditor for the Auditor General leading the delivery of audit and assurance services across the public sector. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland. He is actively involved in community based sport coaching junior rugby league and is a club committee member at Hibiscus Coast Softball Club.  


DANIEL BALASOGLOU

Dan Balasoglou is Chief Financial Officer of Lotto NZ. Prior to this he spent 13 years in the UK working as a Finance Director of a Real Estate services business, in various finance roles with Accenture and also with GE Oil & Gas. Dan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and CPA Australia and involved in his local sports club coaching rugby.
